The Kailua-Kona Public Library hosted the teen program “Solar S’mores” on Saturday. Keiki made a solar oven out of a pizza box, foil, black paper, Saran wrap and tape. Ingredients for s’mores were placed in the oven and baked out in the sun for 30 minutes producing the gooey treat.
